Corrections Committee

Meetings are open in all facilities. We are always looking for new volunteers for all facilities, and we need volunteers for the Pre-Release program. This is rewarding 12th Step work, helping those on the inside transition to the outside. The Women’s prison in Black Mountain is having an orientation Monday, June 1, at 6:30pm.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Liz P at CORRECTIONS_WOMEN@ASHEVILLEAA.ORG.

Also, please keep your eyes out for The Pink Can! This is for the Corrections Committee. The donations collected are for literature that we bring to the prisons and jails. If your group does not have a can, please pick one up at Central office or reach out to Liz or Mitch and we will bring one to you.
