Districts Without Borders: Welcoming all A.A. Groups

The Get Into Action Committee is an independent group of AA members whose goal is to foster collaboration among online groups, to encourage group service, and to help grow AA online. Learn more about GIA here.

If you’re looking to get involved in supporting online groups with their 12-Step work and connecting with A.A. as a whole, consider volunteering with us on our current projects. We have three initiatives underway. The first involves creating a brief multimedia presentation that explains how an online group operates, how to start a new group, and how to connect each group to A.A. The second project is focused on proposing modifications to revise the online group/meeting section found in the Internet Guidelines. Lastly, we are working on filling the gap in guidance for online districts by developing a comprehensive guide. 

These are all great service opportunities for A.A. members who are looking for a way to give back to this life-saving program. For more information, please see our Project page.
