District 70 Service is responsible for carrying the AA message into treatment centers, jails and prisons and now has a Google group. This will serve as a communication link for coordinators to announce what new service commitments are being made available. If you are interested in carrying the message into institutions this is a good way to see what opportunities there are. The group name is: District 70 service. To be added to the group or to post announcements, send emails to: district-70-service@googlegroups.com

MEETING SPACES AVAILABLE!

AHOPE has space available for an AA meeting. Contact Derek Towle, Program Director, Homeward Bound of WNC – 828-777-4247.

Barnardsville United Methodist Church, 7 Church Hill Road (off Dillingham Rd) has a Fellowship Hall that can seat 30-40 people and a smaller room in their parish house that is available.

Belfour United Methodist Church, 2567 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville. They have a fellowship hall and access to a kitchen. Contact Dottie at the church – 828-778-9886.

Asheville 12 Step Recovery Club. 22-B New Leicester Hwy, Asheville 28806. The Club has two handicap accessible meeting rooms available on various days. If interested send an email to: avl12step@gmail.com
